Service Engineer

University Graduate, holder of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent

1-5 years of experience as a Service Engineer ideally within local or regional food equipment companies.

Fluent in Arabic and English, French is a plus.

  • The Service Engineer’s provides technical know-how in the field of machinery in the food industry and provide guidance and support to the technical department and its customers.
  • Ensures effective and accurate communication with customers regarding their inquiries, including new requests, offers and technical inquiries.
  • Prepares quotation requests, sample request, order details and other similar technical requests and coordinates with the suppliers for timely feedback.
  • Reviews information received from suppliers including offers and other technical information to ensure adequacy and suitability with respect to customer’s requests. Coordinates with customers for service visits. Installs new machines at customers’ premises and perform needed regular service inspection. Provides training and technical assistance to customers for proper operation and troubleshooting of installed machines. Provides to management regular feedback as expected and submit requested reports including but not limited to phone reports, visit plans and reports, machine checklists, project reports, minutes of meeting, etc...
  • Ensures the implementation of the company’s quality management system and provide feedback and support for regular improvement. Conducts analysis on the different technical sheets. Provides new ideas and actions that will continuously improve services and report them back to upper management.
