University degree from well reputed universities. Law degree is a plus.
Around 4-6 years of compliance experience as Compliance Officer or Regulatory Officer or related within well established firms in Lebanon or in the Gulf.
Compliance experience is a must while additional legal experience is a plus.
Well exposed to compliance concepts and requirements
Experience working with academic institutions and international regulation is a plus.
The Regulatory Compliance Officer has primary day-to-day responsibility for the institution’s regulatory compliance program; and will conduct periodic assessments to identify regulatory requirements and risks relevant to the institution’s activities.
High ethical values. Enjoying a strong yet flexible personality. Team player; good sense of observation, follow-up and control. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good interpersonal and reporting skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment.
Bilingual: English and Arabic. Computer literate.
