Learning & Development Manager

University graduate – ideally holder of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, or related field

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development function either at the Client side or withing a well-established Training Institute in Lebanon and/or the GCC involving preparing or coordinating training sessions on soft skills through internal or external Partners; and creating Training Academies and Programs.

Experience in delivering training is a plus but is not required.

Preferable multidisciplinary experience in projects and programs management, client relations, defining training needs and objectives, proposals, training programs delivery, budget and logistics management, finding trainers and interesting programs, etc.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferable

 

  • Stay abreast of learning and development best practices and the latest trends in the market from a professional perspective and leadership development perspective
  • Develop a project plan for L&D projects, taking into consideration required activities and available resources
  • Manage training needs assessment to identify training requirements and objectives for client employees
  • Manage the development of training marketing material and content either internally or in coordination with service providers (i.e., graphic designer, advertisement agency) and ensure its timely posting on social media, website and other platforms
  • Manage training logistics (i.e., venue, schedule, food, beverages, travel and accommodation for abroad trainees, etc.), ensuring timeliness and cost-effectiveness
  • Facilitate and deliver walk-in training, the material of Academy, public courses, and standardized courses, ensuring presentation is interesting and captivates attention of the audience
  • Recommend enhancements to learning and development activities, content, and techniques to ensure continuous improvement in the services and offerings and improve learner experience
  • Contribute to improving operational efficiency on L&D projects and internal initiatives
  • Coach and mentor team members and support team development activities to create a positive learning culture at the company.

 

Building Teams & Customer Centricity. Engaging & Developing People. Computer literate. Fluent in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
