Lawyer-Assistant to the General Counsel

Age ideally between 27-30 years old;

Bachelor Degree in Law studies from well-reputed universities.

Masters Degree is a plus.

Around 5-7 years of legal experience within well-established local or regional ideally law firms if not, commercial companies in Lebanon as Lawyer/Attorney or Assistant to General Counsel or In-house Lawyer.

Experience in legal in medical or healthcare or medical malpractice cases is a major plus.

Will report to the General Counsel and work with outside counsel(s) and the institution’s administrators providing legal services relating to applicable laws, policy development, academic and student affairs, contracts, litigation support, international programs, real estate, construction, employment matters and other legal issues in higher education, as well as the regulatory activities of the Institution; in addition to all aspects related to medical laws as well as regulatory compliance related to clinical research and the delivery of medical care.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives; prioritizing and working independently in a highly collegial and high performing environment.

High degree of personal integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to accountability.

Excellent level in English and Arabic Languages.

Computer literate.
