Group Plant Manager

Bachelor degree in Civil or Industrial or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University.

Member of the Order of Engineers and Architects or equivalent organization.

Having a minimum of 15 years of Industry experience with a min of 10 years in Plant Management in a top tier regional or multinational Engineering and/or Contracting/Construction firm, as Plant Manager or Head of Plant & Machinery or Plant Director or related.

Will be covering Lebanon, KSA, Qatar, UAE, Nigeria and other areas the Group may expand to.

Will ensure that the objectives of the Group Plant Department are aligned with the mission, vision and strategic goals of the Group; lead safe and efficient and optimum running of plant operations across the Group.

Will increase assets and equipment utilization and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards; ensure the proper prioritization, planning, deployment, organization and compliance of resources per projects and areas to achieve company objectives and ensure targets are met.

Will operate the Plant Division as a zero-cost center ensuring that cost is optimized and that the plant division is focused on increasing the company’s competitiveness in the market at the same time increasing shareholder value.

Leadership skills and team management skills. Excellent decision-making. Financial management including assessing and forecasting costs against budgets. Clear understanding of asset management and resource planning management. Understanding key financial business principles as required for managing a very large asset based business. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Good understanding of Quality and Risk Management. Solid knowledge in all aspects of construction/contracting and Project Management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organization capabilities. Excellent Negotiator. Ability to maneuver and focus under stress and workload pressure.

Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic. Computer Literate.
