Group EPC Bidding Senior Manager

University graduate; holder of a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Telecom or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Relevant MSc. is a plus.

Certificate in Project Management is a plus (PMP).

Around 8-10 years of experience in Bidding and Telecom Civil Works Projects Execution in the GSM infrastructure field in Lebanon or abroad.

Experience in passive and active telecom.

Experience in infrastructure works for the telecom industry (including civil works).

Experience in Power equipment is a plus.

Experience in Fiber Optics and Data Centers is a plus.

Hands-on experience (as Project Manager for instance) is a plus.

Experience in FULL TURNKEY projects in telecom is a major plus.

Provides technical guidance and support to Country Heads and Projects’ Heads or other team members in the EPC organization, as needed.

Coordinates with the Sales team and ensure proper handover of documents and details from sales. Gives regular feedback to Group EPC Head and Sales team.

Reviews bids and manage the « Go or No-Go » process in collaboration with the Bidding committee.

Ensures compliance with the bidding process and proper preparation and submission of bids on-time and in-full.

Prepares project charter or EPC projects and hands over to project execution team.

Ensures meeting target bid success rate, identifies or collects root causes of bid loss and record lessons learnt.

Builds the EPC bidding database and knowledge base.

Works on diversifying the EPC bidding portfolio, by conducting market research studies, seeking bidding in new industries and partnering with proper consultants of Subject Matter Experts SMEs.

Ensures proper reporting is being done on-time in-full by the execution team at Group and Opco levels.

Good experience in Project management; familiar with scheduling software like MS Project and Primavera P6. Familiar with bidding software or applications. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Confident and able to interact and present solutions and bids to clients. Able to lead a team and follow up on the needed deliverables from other departments and OUs.

Proficient in Excel and other MS office tools.
