Group CFO

University degree preferably in Business Administration, majoring in Finance or Accounting from good universities. Masters in Finance or MBA or CFA or CPA (at least one is required).

Minimum 15 years of Finance and Accounting experience within large multi-countries companies and Groups with regional activities in Lebanon and the GCC or Africa with a minimum of 3 years as Group CFO or VP Finance reporting to a CEO.

 

Deep practical application of Finance, Financial Systems and modules.
Strong financial and management accounting background.
Sound understanding of the business requirements and financial implications.
Well exposed to international taxation.

Key Responsibilities

Will work closely with the Group CEO.
Will liaise with Finance Heads in the sister companies and at Holding level.
Will have to ensure standardization of latest financial best practices across the Group.
Will be responsible for optimizing the financial status at Group level, by analyzing, managing, and controlling profitability, setting proper internal controls, controlling expenses vs. budgets, contracts and other financial and operational measurements of the Group of companies operating across Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
Will ensure that all legal reporting requirements and all internal reporting requirements are met; and that developing plans to improve profitability are continuously done in coordination with the Group auditors and heads of finance/accounting.
Will revise Treasury Management; IT systems.
Will handle ad-hoc feasibility studies.
