General Manager

University graduate; preferably holder of a Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Engineering + MBA or similar from well-reputed universities.

Agriculture degree is a plus.

Around 15 years of experience in senior management and/or commercial/business development and/or operations director role with min. of 3-5 years in senior managerial roles such as General Manager or Deputy General Manager or COO or Country Manager or Division Manager within major local, regional or multinational distribution companies, ideally through wholesale operations, in Lebanon, in the Gulf or in North Africa.

Previous P&L responsibility is required.

Agriculture and chemicals products sector experience or exposure is a major plus.

Will manage and oversee the country’s operations, monitor sales performance, credit systems, P&L and budget; work towards developing the business through sustainable growth and strong financial performance. Will support and coach the team; monitor risk exposure keeping it within set parameters; ensure geographical expansion through the right channels, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining great relations with the key customers/accounts, government bodies, community and concerned parties directly affecting the business. Will ensure respect of Group’s policies and procedures.
