Financial Controller

University degree in Accounting or Finance from well reputed universities. Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CMA or ACCA is preferred.

Having a minimum of 5 years of accounting and financial control experience with the day-to-day financial and accounting business operations, with a min. of 2 years as Financial Controller or related within well-established banks, financial services or insurance firms.

Will be responsible for accounting, reconciliation and reporting functions in Lebanon, with a strong involvement in planning and controls.

Will coordinate activities of external auditors, participate in resolving all audit issues, ensure all compliance issues are met, and participate in the preparation of the annual financial statements and regulatory returns in accordance with local and other required supplementary schedules and information.

Will prepare monthly P/L actual analysis in coordination with and CFO; maintain records in Assets Management Module for fixed assets; and carry any new assignment added if any.

Knowledge of accounting systems ideally Oracle and PeopleSoft  is a major plus.

Fluency in English and Arabic. Computer literate. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
