Financial Controller

University graduate; holder of Business degree preferably in Business Administration or Accounting or Finance from well reputed universities. Relevant Master’s degree is a plus. CMA, CPA, CFA is a plus.

Having around 8-10 years of experience with a minimum of 6years as Financial Controller or related within well-established commercial or production or manufacturing firms in Lebanon.

Preferably having worked with companies that have different locations/branches/entities (worked on consolidation level).

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

 

Will review and consolidate monthly financial reports issued by the group entities with all required supporting analysis and comments; lead the preparation of annual budgets and monitor variances on monthly basis; liaise with entities’ accounting teams to clarify any discrepancies in monthly financial statements; follow up daily on FX rates and their effect on the different entities of the group; prepare tax schedules and file periodic tax returns; conduct business interpretation studies, due diligence, feasibility studies or business plans for any potential project; and prepare sales analysis reports and any ad-hoc analysis reports requested by management.

 

Analytical. Good technical skills. Good reporting skills. Good communication skills. Good knowledge in Microsoft Office. Experience in Visual Dolphin is a plus. Bilingual and computer literate.
