Finance Director

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field from reputable universities.

Minimum 20 years of Finance experience from which a minimum of 8 to 10 years in a senior finance management role as Finance Director or Head of Finance with large local or regional or international organizations, ideally in the non-governmental (NGO) or Healthcare sectors in Lebanon.

Professional certification (CPA, CMA or CFA) is a major plus.

Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting and of accounting principles and procedure.

Proven experience with audit and internal control processes.

Proficiency in financial management software and systems.

Experience in identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks.

Familiarity with IT management and systems implementation from a Finance perspective.

Ideally exposed to international grants management and financial reporting and audits; with an understanding of related financial laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

Knowledge of ERP systems.

Trilingual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.French is a must

 

Leads the financial, IT, and procurement divisions of the Organization, ensuring alignment with the mission and strategic objectives of the Association. He/She is responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making. This role also involves identifying and implementing effective solutions to any financial or operational challenges that may arise. Additionally, he/she manages the IT department, driving the implementation of innovative technology systems and policies to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. He/She also oversees the procurement division, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with the organization’s goals and comply with relevant regulations and procedures.
