Estimation & Proposals Manager

University degree in Engineering from well reputed universities. Master’s degree is a plus.

Around 20 years of total experience, with a minimum of 5-10 years as Estimation Manager and/or Proposals Manager (Head of Department for all trades) or related within large regional contracting or construction companies in Lebanon or in the Gulf.

Additional experience in Planning, Contracts, Construction Methodology and Financial Modeling is preferred

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), Estimation Software, AutoCAD & Revit

Will be responsible of handling technical, administrative and commercial estimates activities for bids and proposals. Developing the policies and procedures of the estimation & proposals function and ensure their proper implementation.

Preparing and submitting yearly departmental budget. Defining and developing with the CEO annual goals and objectives concerning the estimation department.

Managing the tender submission through its entire life cycle.

Review the prepared draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included. Reviewing the design and assessing optimization strategies for Alternative Bids proposals. Engaging with the right design firms and specialists for EPC Projects and meeting the Client/Operator requirements. Manage the department’s team and ensure proper team development and retention.

Detail Oriented. Good organizational skills. Strong Technical, commercial and analytical skills. Strong business acumen and demonstrated project management skills. Ability to adapt to all technical and commercial subjects. Good Managerial skills.

Preferably trilingual: English, French and Arabic.
