Bachelor degree with a preference given to degrees in Supply Chain Management, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
Minimum of 15 years of work experience including 8 years in a management role in Procurement within well-established large and multi-branches firms, ideally multinationals, in Lebanon or in the Gulf, as Director of Procurement or Purchasing Director or related.
Prior working knowledge in developing RFPs and analyzing tenders, especially in the Lebanese market.
Experience in using an automated procurement system as part of an organization-wide ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
The Director of Procurement will be responsible for setting the procurement strategies of the institution and managing its operations.
Will direct the Procurement offices by ensuring full compliance, standardization, consistency and collaboration in their operations, set procurement strategies to be implemented, oversee the preparation and implementation of the Procurement office budgets, collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the procurement specifications, encourage constant researches to identify potential new suppliers, products and services to meet the institution’s standards, and respond to audit inquiries, ensuring full cooperation of both procurement offices teams.

Ability to be highly organized with strong attention to details along with multitasking ability. Proven ability to successfully manage teams. Advanced communication and negotiation skills. Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite. Bilingual: English and Arabic.
