University degree preferably in Business Administration, majoring in Finance or Accounting from reputable universities. Masters in Finance or MBA are a definite plus.
Minimum 15-20 years of Finance and Accounting experience within major large distribution companies (ideally Pharmaceuticals) in Lebanon with a minimum of 5 years as CFO.
Previous CFO experience in the distribution sector is a major asset and competitive advantage.
The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities in order to safeguard the institution assets and to maximize the returns on investment (P&L). These will include direct responsibilities for: Budgeting, Accounting, Billing, Reimbursement, Credit and Collection, Insurance, Purchasing, Health Information Management, Payroll Cashier and Tax –related issues.
Must be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge in Lebanese finance and taxation rules and regulations. Willing to understand the competitive marketplace.
Able to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Effective analytical, public speaking and word processing skills are necessary. Able to link and apply complex financial instruments to business strategies. Experience in negotiating contracts with vendors, contractors, and others. Able to analyze and adequately resolve complex issues.
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds. Ensure conformity with all legal, financial regulatory and compliance requirements.
Prepare and maintain regular financial/reports (P&L, Budgets, etc.).
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, French and Arabic.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Good working knowledge of financial accounting systems namely ERP (ideally Microsoft Navision).
