Accounting and Financial Controller

Bachelor degree preferably in Business Administration; major Accounting or Finance from well-reputed universities. Masters or CMA or CFA is a plus.

Having around 7-10 years of professional accounting and finance or financial control experience strictly within well-established Multinational Healthcare/Pharmaceutical or FMCG distribution companies in Lebanon with min. 3 years as Accounting and Financial Controller or Finance Manager.

Having had Profit & Loss responsibility.

Exposed to accounting and financial regional reporting and compliance matters.

Previous experience in the Lebanese market is a must.

Knowledge of either US-GAAP and/or IFRS.

SAP knowledge is highly preferred.

Will be responsible for the management of the financial control and accounting functions of one of the Lebanese entity divisions.

Will be an active participant and sparring partner in the management group and ensure that the company complies with the Group’s guidelines and policies.

The role can entail a few trips per annum to the headquarters in Europe.

In addition to the finance topics, will also be responsible for several personnel topics such as payroll, time and attendance, contracts, holiday and will act as point of contact for employees.

Excellent command of spoken and written Arabic and English to communicate easily in an international working environment.

Wil report to the Finance Director in Beirut with dotted line to the Group Financial Controller in headquarters.

No direct team under supervision.
